"I am very happy and excited," said the Spaniard minutes after racing down 400 meters of the beach coast. "I want to thank all the Red Bull team for helping me be the first to achieve this challenge in such a perfect scenario", he added.
 
The Red Bull Racing team had been searching for the perfect location to have a beach run for   four years, and they found it now in this beautiful Caribbean beach in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.

Jaime Alguersuari is the youngest pilot to ever race in Formula 1. His first steps into the motorports world were in 1998, competing in go-karts when he was 8 years old. At 13, transitioned into European championships and his international appeal began. He got his first Formula Junior win in 2005. That same year he was chosen to be part of the Red Bull Junior Team. On July 26, 2009 in Budapest he became the youngest pilot in history to debut in Formula 1 with Scuderria Toro Rosso.
